Paving Project Begins This Week On US 52 In Dearborn, Franklin Counties

Lane closures will be required during work.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A patching project begins this week in Dearborn and Franklin counties.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. plans to begin asphalt patching on a nine-mile section of U.S. 52 on or after Tuesday, August 18.

The $1.6 million project will take place on U.S. 52 between State Road 1 and Interstate 74.

Work will require lane closures, which will be maintained by flagging.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of November, weather depending.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
