Overturned Semi Closed I-74 for Multiple Hours

The accident happened close to the Dearborn/Ripley county line.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - An overturned semi halted traffic on Interstate 74 eastbound in northern Dearborn County last Friday night. 

Indiana State Police responded to the crash near the Dearborn and Ripley county line around 10:15 p.m.

I-74 eastbound was shut down at exit 156 in Ripley County, which caused traffic to be diverted onto State Road 101, State Road 46 and State Road 1. 

The interstate remained closed for several hours while the semi trailer was offloaded. 

There was no report of any injuries.
