(Batesville, Ind.) - The City of Batesville, Batesville Fire and Batesville Police Department have announced the launch of a drone program.
This new technology will help first responders locate victims faster, improve firefighter safety, and strengthen emergency response across our community.
The program is made possible through a generous grant from the Ripley County Community Foundation and the Givebutter fundraiser.
"We are also proud to partner with the Batesville Police Department. this collaboration strengthens our ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies across our region," reads a statement from Batesville Fire and Rescue.
