Osgood Police Receive Funding for Vests, Security Cameras

(Osgood, Ind.) – The Osgood Police Department has used funds from two local endowments to purchase needed equipment.

Through the Black Memorial Trust and the Ray E. Herman & Louise Crum Memorial Endowment funds, Osgood Police purchased new bulletproof vests as well as security cameras for the community center.

In total, Osgood Police received $2,500 in funding for the purchases. Both endowments are supported by the Ripley County Community Foundation.

“The police department would like to publicly thank the foundation as well as the board members, leadership from the local funding sources,” reads a statement from Osgood Police.
