(Milan, Ind.) – An organization that was created in 2014 to assist those with mobility problems has come to Milan.

Operation Ramp It Up was founded by Greg Schneider seven years ago. Since then, the organization has installed 83 ramp systems in 18 different states, assisting military veterans and non-veterans with mobility problems.

Recently, Schneider and his crew removed a system in East Enterprise that was installed for the late Jack Haslett. The system was moved to the home of Rufus and Sue Purcell in Milan.

Rufus, 83, is an Army veteran who need the system to help him get in and out of his home.

P.G. Gentrup helped Schneider coordinate the ramp installation.
