Governor Mike DeWine is urging all Ohioans to get the shot.
(Columbus, Oh.) – Today is the first day the COVID-19 vaccination is widely available in Ohio.
Governor Mike DeWine has announced that Ohioans 16 and older are eligible to receive the vaccine under Phase 2D of the state’s vaccination program beginning Monday, March 29.
With parental or legal guardian consent, individuals ages 16 and 17 will be eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which is the only COVID-19 vaccine currently authorized for use under age 18.
Ohioans can find vaccine providers by visiting the state’s appointment scheduling system, Vaccine Management Solution (VMS).
Indiana is expected to open vaccine eligibility to all Hoosiers age 16 and older on Wednesday. Kentucky is on track to do the same by April 12.
