An arrest was made on Wednesday following an investigation that began in September.

(Boone County, Ky.) – An Ohio man has been arrested on multiple charges related to sexual contact with a juvenile.
Kevin Villamar, 28, of Springfield Township, was taken into custody Wednesday by Boone County Sheriff’s detectives with the assistance of Springfield Township Police.
Villamar was wanted on a warrant for Rape 3rd Degree, Sodomy 3rd Degree, Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance, Distribution of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor, Distribution of Obscene Matter to Minors 1st Offense, and Prohibited Use of Electronic Communication System to Procure a Minor.
The investigation began in September when detectives were contacted by the victim’s mother, who reported the sexual abuse.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Villamar posed as a 15-year-old boy to solicit sexual acts from the victim. Villamar and the victim later met in Hebron where various sexual acts were allegedly performed.
Villamar is currently lodged at the Hamilton County Justice Center awaiting extradition to Boone County.
His bond has been set at $500,000.
