NWS: Thunderstorms Expected This Evening

(Wilmington, Oh.) - The National Weather Service (NWS) is Wilmington has released a Hazardous Weather Outlook for this evening. 

Thunderstorms are expected with the most likely timing for severe weather occurring from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Some storms could be severe, according to the NWS.

Damaging winds are the primary threat. Some storms could produce large hail with a lower chance of a tornado. 

In addition, the NWS is reporting that heat indices in the 90's to near 100 degrees are expected Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
