(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The big scissors were brought out last Friday to cut the ribbon for the grand opening of No-ce Italian American Kitchen & Bar.

The new restaurant is located in the DoubleTree hotel at the Lawrenceburg Event Center on Walnut Street in downtown Lawrenceburg, so it's no coincidence that the restaurant is called No-ce, which means Walnut in Italian.

The dinner menu features in-house made noodles for their lobster ravioli and baked lasagna, as well as in-house made meatballs. The menu also features a variety of appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches. In addition, the entrees come in single serving or the sharable Sunday Supper serving sizes.

The No-ce staff greeted community members during two test nights last week, handling over 300 covers in two days.

"I want to thank our team. They have been working for the last three months putting a team together, training, working on the menu, working on the concept, and getting everything ready. I couldn't be prouder of the food and beverage team, front of house and back of house," said Mike Galle, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino and DoubleTree Hotel.

You can get a taste of No-ce daily with breakfast form 6:00 a.m. to noon and dinner from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.

No-ce replaces Levee Bar & Grill.
