(Boone County, Ky.) – A Boone County attorney has pleaded guilty to human trafficking charges.

Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced today that Robert L. Poole, 53, pleaded guilty in Kenton Circuit Court to five counts of Promoting Human Trafficking (Class D Felony), involving five different victims.

The charges stem from an investigation involving former Campbell County District Judge Tim Nolan, who was sentenced in 2018 to 20 years in prison for human trafficking.

Poole’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 16.

Kentuckians are encouraged to learn more about Your Eyes Saves Lives campaign. Cameron launched the human trafficking awareness campaign earlier this year to assist Kentuckians in recognizing and reporting the signs of human trafficking.
