Nighttime Pothole Patching Scheduled for I-71 in Boone County

(Boone County, Ky.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists that Boone County highway crews will be patching potholes on I-71 starting at midnight into Friday morning, April 29.   

A rolling roadblock will be used so that crews can address potholes on both lanes in a safe manner.  

  • I-71 SB (77.7 - 69.9 mile-marker) – Starting at 12 a.m., crews will be patching potholes on I-71 starting at the I-75 interchange to the Gallatin County line.   
  • I-71 NB (69.9 - 77.7 mile-marker) - After finishing the southbound side, crews will do the northbound side.  

Work should be complete by 5 a.m. Motorists can expect delays during this time.
