There is a switch in the flow of traffic on U.S. 50 eastbound at the Trester Hill construction zone in Aurora.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Road crews are going to close the intersection of Stewart Street at U.S. 50 in Aurora.
Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District spokesman Harry Maginity says hydroplaning issues during rainfall are forcing crews to switch the lane closure on U.S. 50 Eastbound at Stewart Street from the left lane to the right lane.
Maginity said the lane switch for eastbound traffic may be in effect until that project for resurfacing U.S. 50 at Stewart Street is completed.
An INDOT contractor, Dave O’Mara, continues to repave U.S. 50 between Aurora and Greendale. The $6.9 million resurfacing and slide correction project will continue through the fall of 2019.
