Multiple Agencies Rescue Injured Franklin Co. Hunter

A long search in a wooded area took place on Monday night.

(Brookville, Ind.) - Multiple agencies responded to an injured person lost in a wooded area on Monday night. 

Brookville Fire, Blooming Grove Fire, Letts Ems, Indiana Conservation Officers, Franklin County Sheriff Office, Brookville Police, and Franklin County 911 responded to the incident near the Garr Hill Boat Ramp after 10:00 p.m.

An unidentified coonhunter was located approximately 1.5 miles from the boat ramp with a broken femur. 

It took approximately five hours to get to the individual, who was transferred to UC Aircare.
