Motorcyclist Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in Ripley Co.

The accident took place Sunday night around 8:30.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – Air care had to be called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Ripley County on Sunday night.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash around 8:33 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 101 and Spades Road.

Deputies say Fred Hamilton, 45, of Harrison, Ohio, was traveling northbound on State Road 101 when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit the back of another vehicle.

Hamilton was airlifted from the scene and transported to UC Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not released.

No other injuries were reported.

Milan Fire and Ripley County EMS assisted at the scene.
