Moores Hill Brothers To Be Honored As Reds' Hometown Heroes

Just another reason to go out to the ballpark on Wednesday afternoon.

(Cincinnati, Oh.) - The McClanahan brothers from Moores Hill will be honored at the Reds game on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.  

They will be honored atop the home dugout at the end of the second inning.  

Mike McClanahan served in the United States Navy from 1964- 1982 at many duty stations across the USA. Brother, Pat McClanahan, served in the Navy from 1969-1971 aboard the Kitty Hawk and the Constellation.  

The ships were part of the VAQ 133 Squadron and transported the KA-3B planes.

The McClanahan's are valued members of two area Color Guards and members of the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Moores Hill American Legion.  

Mike graduated from Moores Hill High School in 1965 and Pat in 1968. Their dad, Harold, was a Prisoner of War (POW) during World War II for over two years and served in the Army Air Corps.
