The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has enhanced its app that was created in 2016.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Looking for a job just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the mobile app called ICC Jobs available from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Job seekers in Indiana have the option to use the app created for the state’s job board, Indiana Career Connect (ICC).

DWD launched the mobile app to complement ICC and expand the reach, flexibility and use of Indiana’s premier job search portal. The modernized ICC, launched in 2016, was accessed by over 215,000 unique visitors in 2017 and included nearly 120,000 job postings and more than 60,000 résumé postings last year.

The free app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store by searching for “ICC Jobs.” New users can register an account via the app or access open positions using the guest login feature.  Current ICC website users can use the same sign-on credentials created on the ICC website (www.indianacareerconnect.com) to access the ICC mobile app.

“The ICC mobile app is a perfect complement to the Indiana Career Connect site itself,” said DWD Commissioner Fred Payne. “It gives job seekers an anytime, anyplace opportunity to stay connected with the current job market while also giving the ability to update personal resume and skill attributes for employers to see.”

The ICC mobile app uses location services to pinpoint the employers who are hiring near specific locations using advanced GEO technology (color-coded by industry). The most popular features from the ICC Mobile App include providing the location of nearby WorkOne Career Centers, the ability to favorite job openings and a functional calendar to set follow-up reminders for appointments.
