MMH Requests Seamstresses To Donate Face Masks

The demand for personal protective equipment has created a severe shortage across the globe.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Margaret Mary Health is requesting that anyone with a sewing machine and the ability to sew help make cloth face masks for patients and their families. 

With the global demand for personal protective equipment, like face masks, at an all time high, there has been a severe shortage across the world. 

MMH encourages those who are able to help to start by watching a brief instructional video, or view print instructions.

Batesville Drop-off

  • Miss Shannon’s Music Studio, 121 Shopping Village, Suite A - Noon - 5:00 PM

Versailles Drop-off

  • The Quilter’s Nook, 82 Hill Street - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday from Noon - 4:00 PM

Volunteer that have already made face masks not meeting the specifications can still donate.
