(Erlanger, Ky.) - A widening and improvement project on KY 3076 (Mineola Pike) between KY 236 (Donaldson Road) and I-275 will start August 1.

The project will widen the 1-mile road to 5-lanes with curb and gutter.  A sidewalk will be constructed on the southside of the road and a multiuse path on the northside.

“Mineola Pike houses several businesses,” said Bob Yeager, Chief District Engineer of KYTC’s District 6 office. “This project will improve mobility and provide a better connection to I-275,” he continued.

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout the project.  Motorists should watch for crews and equipment in the work zone.

The $10.4 million project was award to Eaton Asphalt Paving Co., Inc, of Walton, KY.  The project has a completion date of September 2023.
