(Milan, Ind.) - The Milan High School Band Director, Stefani Bedel, created a holiday ensemble for band students.

Students are volunteering their time to play Christmas music at Ripley Crossing Nursing Home in Milan and before school for students during breakfast.

This opportunity is for extra credit, but many members of the ensemble do not need the extra credit. Many of the members are involved in extracurricular activities, including after-school sports, clubs, and jobs.

Students hope to spread Christmas joy to all who listen, especially students as they enjoy their breakfast, Tuesday morning. Entering students and staff enjoy listening to the music as they enter preparing for winter break.

Stefani Bedel says, “We are blessed to have good musicans, who were able to participate in this activity. It was nice to be able to perform in front of the nursing home residents before the holidays.”
