Michigan Couple Injured In State Road 48 Crash

The couple was hauling a 35-foot-camper when they crashed into a ditch Tuesday afternoon.

(Sunman, Ind.) – A couple from Michigan were injured in Tuesday afternoon’s accident on State Road 48 in Sunman. 

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash around 3:33 p.m. near McManaman Road. 

Deputies say Keith Brew, 72, of Dumont Lake Allegan, Michigan, was eastbound in a pickup truck, hauling a 35-foot-camper, when he went off the side of the road, over-corrected and crashed into a ditch.

Brew was flown to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

His wife, Linda, 74, was was taken to Highpoint Health with an arm injury.

Aurora EMS, Manchester Fire, Sunman Fire and Air Care assisted at the scene.
