Medical Issue Leads to Semi Tractor-Trailer Crash Near Sunman

The Ripley County Sheriff's Office released their finding from last Wednesday's crash.

(Sunman, Ind.) – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office has released their findings from a semi-tractor trailer accident last week.

According to a news release, Robert Duvall, 40, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, was traveling along Interstate 74 last Wednesday when a medical issue caused his vehicle to leave the roadway near the address of 8249 E. Hoff Road in Sunman.

Duvall was airlifted to UC Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Ripley County Sheriff deputies were assisted at the scene by Sunman Fire, Rescue 20, Ripley County Medic, and Batesville Fire and EMS.
