Man Accused Of Molesting Girl, 11

(Florence, Ky.) – A Boone County resident is behind bars accused of molesting a young girl.

 

Boone County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Corey Nida, 25, on Tuesday afternoon and charged him with Sexual abuse 1st degree, Rape 1st degree, and Sodomy 1st degree.

 

Investigators say Nida abused the 11-year-old who was entrusted in his care over the past six months at his home on White Pine Circle near Florence.

 

He is currently being held in the Boone County Detention Center.

 

If convicted of the charges, Nida faces up to 110 years in prison.
