Louisville Man Dies In Ky. 18 Motorcycle Crash


(Burlington, Ind.) - A deadly motorcycle crash occurred on Kentucky in 18 in Boone County Saturday.

 

Police say Brian Baum, 32, of Louisville, was riding his motorcycle eastbound at Shady Hollow Road in Burlington when he crossed the center line on a curve at about 2:20 p.m.

 

The bike was then hit head-on by a westbound 2003 Honda Accord driven by Tammy Coker, 50, of Florence. 

Baum died at the scene. Officers said he was not wearing his helmet.

 

Coker and three passengers in her car were not injured.

 

The deadly crash remains under investigation.
