(Harrison, Oh.) – The longtime Captain of the Harrison Fire Department was recently honored by City Council.
Mayor Bill Neyer presented Kugler with an American flag that flew outside Fire Station 56 on his final day on the job.
Cam Kugler retired in April after 32 years of service.
Some of his fondest memories included working with young people through the cadet program. To date, he continues to train future firefighters as an adjunct instructor at Cincinnati State University.
Kugler began as a firefighter straight out of Harrison High School in 1991. He was hired full-time in 1997 and gained several promotions throughout his career.
