(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Flex Audiology has announced the winner of its seasonal competition entitled “The Gift of Better Hearing.”

The giveaway was launched in July, giving one individual from Lawrenceburg the opportunity to win a pair of hearing aids and access to audiological care.

After carefully reading each submission, Flex Audiology selected Angela (last name not included) as the winner. They based their decision on the touching stories that were sent in by friends and family who shared their nominee’s story.

Angela was then invited to the clinic for a custom fitting of brand-new hearing aids, as well as a comprehensive hearing assessment, free of charge.

"This is such a relief to be able to focus on my family this Christmas and not worry about the cost of hearing aids,” said Angela.

Dr. Person, Owner and Audiologist of Flex Audiology said:

“Angela was seen at our office and made the decision to move forward with hearing aids. We verified her insurance benefits and they told us she had coverage. The week before she was scheduled to be fit, we made another call into her insurance to double check and they informed us she NEVER had coverage. Isn't insurance fun?!? As timing would have it, the next day Angela called to let us know she had switched jobs, no longer had insurance and was in the gap waiting period. We let her know that she never had coverage BUT a family member had previously nominated her for our Hear for the Holidays program! It was devine intervention and we had our winner! Hearing is imperative when we are still out actively in the work force. Being able to help someone take this expense off their hands while heading into the Holidays is very gratifying. Good luck in the new job with your new ears!”

Flex Audiology is currently accepting appointments at their Lawrenceburg and Harrison clinics, and cater to a range of lifestyles, backgrounds, and budgets.
