(Nashville, Ind.) - A new concert hall is set to open in Nashville, Indiana later this year.

The revival of live music in Brown County comes ten years after the Little Nashville Opry burned down. The concert hall had hosted some of the biggest names in country music.

The Brown County Music Center is expected to seat 2,000 people when it opens in the late summer of this year. The new venue is off State Road 46 near the village of Nashville.

"From rock, blues, and oldies to country, jazz, bluegrass, and even pop, performances at the Brown County Music Center will run the gamut, stretching across all musical styles and will appeal to a wide audience," according to the Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Concert announcements for the music center are expected to begin later this month.
