Lawrenceburg Police Officer Retiring After Decades of Service

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg Police officers is calling it a career.

Lt. Ken Losekamp is retiring today after spending the last 20 years serving the citizens of Lawrenceburg.

Losekamp began as a public servant in 1992 as a member of Franklin County EMS/Fire Department. He transitioned to Franklin County dispatcher and jailer in 1995 before being hired by Capital Police in Indianapolis in 1998.

Lt. Losekamp later worked for the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department before coming to Lawrenceburg Police in 2003.

During his time in Lawrenceburg, Losekamp became an instructor in several disciplines including firearms, emergency vehicle operations, defense tactics and motor patrol.
