(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Rebecca Lovern will serve as Lawrenceburg Main Street’s new Executive Director.

Lovern was selected for the position due to her experience in management and multitasking, along with her ability to successfully interact with a diverse audience.

She was previously employed by Rising Star Casino. Over a 12-year period, she gained experience in a broad range of positions including Hospitality Manager.

In 2022, she was named the Manager of the Year. Lovern has been active as a volunteer in many community organizations, including Dearborn County Young Professionals, Ohio County Tourism, and Dearborn-Ohio County Child Advocates.

“From a pool of strong candidates, we are excited that Rebecca has accepted the position to lead Lawrenceburg Main Street,” said Board President Sharon McAndrew. “She has the vision and drive to continue building our downtown and keeping Lawrenceburg, a City on the Rise. She understands the hometown culture and is a great fit for our community.”

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve as Lawrenceburg’s Main Street Director,” said Lovern. “As Gandhi once said, ‘you must be the change you wish to see in the world’, and ‘the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others’, which is exactly what I intend on doing. I’m excited to embark on this journey, working alongside the community and bringing new energy to create meaningful growth.”
