Kitchen Fire Causes Heavy Damage At Napoleon Home; No Injuries Reported

(Napoleon, Ind.) – A structure fire broke out at a home in Napoleon on Thursday evening.

Napoleon Volunteer Firefighters responded to the call at a home on Old Michigan Road. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found heavy fire conditions in the kitchen area. 

An official cause has not been determined at this time, but the fire is believed to have started in the area of an electrical cooking appliance.

Thanks to a quick response, firefighters were able to limit the spread of the fire to other parts of the home. 

No injuries were reported.
