(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It's going to be two big nights of country music at the 2018 Lawrenceburg Fall Fest.

On Monday morning, Fall Fest organizer Marie Edwards was in the Eagle Country 99.3 studio to reveal this year's Fall Fest musical lineup.

Our listeners learned first that country music Hall of Famer Dwight Yoakam will take to the stage on Friday, September 28. Yoakam has sold more than 25 million records and charted thirty songs on the Billboard Hot Country Song chart, including #1 hits "I Sang Dixie" and "Streets of Bakersfield."

Opening acts on Friday will include up-and-coming Nashville artist Tony Jackson, and current country music star Walker Hayes, whose hit song "You Broke Up With Me" continues to climb the charts.

On Saturday, September 29,  country music superstar Justin Moore will take the Fall Fest stage for the second time. He once opened for legend Willie Nelson before making it big in country music. Moore is best-known for hit songs such as "Small Town USA", "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away", "Til My Last Day", "Lettin' the Night Roll", "You Look Like I Need A Drink", and "Somebody Else Will."

Walker Montgomery, the son of country music icon John Michael Montgomery and nephew of Eddie Montgomery, will open up for Moore on Saturday night.

Local favorites The Weldon Brother Band will also perform Friday and Saturday nights at Fall Fest.

While Fall Fest will remain in downtown Lawrenceburg, there will be some new events going on at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds, including the Whiskey City Rodeo. Five of the best bull riders in the world will are expected to participate. In addition, the Statewide Association Lineman Rodeo with teams from state of Indiana, California, and America Samoa.
