ISP Versailles Troopers Arrest Louisville Man On Drug Charges

The arrest came Sunday during a traffic stop in Clark County.

(Versailles, Ind.) – A Louisville man was arrested on numerous charges following a traffic stop in southeast Indiana.

Indiana State Police – Versailles All Crimes Policing Team conducted the traffic stop in Clark County on Sunday.

During the stop on Interstate 65 northbound, troopers observed the driver, Rex L. White, 26, attempt to dispose of a white substance, believed to be methamphetamine.

White was taken into custody while attempting to flee the scene with his two daughters, ages 5 and 7, in the vehicle.

Following his arrest, troopers say they located approximately five ounces of suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle, along with marijuana, drug paraphernalia, controlled substances, and a handgun.

White is charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Neglect of a Dependent, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstruction of Justice, and Trafficking with an Inmate.
