(Greenwood, Ind.) - Indiana is officially getting its first Buc-ee's.

The Texas-based travel center chain is planning a 74,000-square-foot store with 120 fueling stations in Greenwood.

The Buc-ee's will be built on 37 acres just off Interstate 65 at Worthsville Road in Johnson County.

The process moved through Greenwood's local planning process in June 2026. Construction is expected to take about two years once it begins, putting the anticipated opening window in 2028 or later.

More information about the project can be found at Buc-ee's Greenwood, Indiana – Coming 2028

A second Indiana location is being evaluated in Whitestown (Boone County).
