House Fire In Ripley Co. Leaves One Dead

(Ripley County, Ind.) - An early morning house fire in Ripley County has reportedly left one dead. 

The blaze broke out around 5:20 in Rexville, in the area of U.S. 421 and West County Road 800 South. 

Initial reports suggested that at least one person was injured in the fire. On Wednesday afternoon, Ripley County Dispatch confirmed that one person sustained fatal injuries. 

The victim has yet to be identified as the fire remains under investigation.
