Hidden Valley Golf Club Addresses Course Condition, Plans to Restore & Elevate Course

Hidden Valley Golf Club is focused on immediate recovery and long-term reinvestment.

(Hidden Valley, Ind.) – Several factors have caused some challenges at Hidden Valley Golf Club this summer, but the golf club has a plan to restore and elevate the course.

“We recognize the Hidden Valley golf course has faced challenges this season, and we take full responsibility. This summer brought tough conditions: record heat, minimal rainfall, and key, repeated equipment breakdowns. Combined with an aging irrigation system, these factors made course recovery difficult. But these challenges also revealed where change is most needed,” said Ryne Burnett, Director of Golf.

Moving forward, Hidden Valley Golf Club is focused on immediate recovery and long-term reinvestment.

According to Burnett, all key equipment has been repaired, seeding and turf recovery are underway and targeted irrigation fixes are being made now to show visible improvement before the season ends.

A multi-year capital plan is being developed with a focus on immediate equipment upgrades, irrigation efficiencies, and cart path improvements.

“While the summer exposed weaknesses, it also created momentum for lasting change. We are committed not just to fixing today’s issues, but to building a stronger, more resilient course for the future,” Burnett added.
