Heroes Of Character Nominated In Eagle Country

Students and teachers from Taylor Middle School and Taylor High School, Aurora Elementary School, and Milan High School are being honored.

(West Chester, Oh.) - Citizens in our local communities are being honored as Heroes. 

On November 14th, the Tri-State area will honor the 2019 Heroes and Students of Character in West Chester at the Savannah Center from 6-9 PM.

Heroes of Character were nominated by their peers as upstanding citizens and people of character, and represent the best of the Tri-State Area.

Heroes of Character from Eagle Country.

  • Cindy Oser - Teacher at Taylor Middle School 
  • Allison Heisel - Teacher at Taylor High School
  • Mary Bailey - Principal of Aurora Elementary School

Students of Character from Eagle Country. 

  • Alyssa Eichelberger - 10th Grader at Taylor High School
  • Maria Gates - 9th Grader at Taylor High School
  • Melissa Frankenberry - 10th Grader at Milan High School

The Character Council expresses the importance of promoting excellence in character in their vision.

"We are working to establish 'Communities of Character' in neighborhoods, cities, and townships across the Tri-State Area. Businesses, schools. government agencies, faith organizations, and the media are working together to promote good character to ensure that individuals and families are strong, homes and streets are safe, education is effective, business is productive, faith communities are enriched, and citizens care for one another." 

Jim Place, educator, administrator, athletic director, and football coach in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, will be the keynote speaker.
