(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg citizens’ concerns, problems and suggestions to city leaders will be better documented thanks to a new form.

Lawrenceburg Clerk-Treasurer Rich Richardson, Mayor Kelly Mollaun, and Lawrenceburg Common Council have introduced a new Common Council Request Form. It will be filled out by citizens or elected officials when they want to present an issue at a council meeting or help constituents with issues outside of meetings.

“This new process would add a needed layer of documentation. This will allow the Clerk-Treasurer’s office to track data in accordance to various issues that take place in the city. A resolution page will be required so as to track how long a request has been open and what resolution took place for the constituent,” said Richardson.

The request form is available at the clerk-treasurer’s office. Staff there will make sure the issue is brought to the attention of the appropriate councilperson, mayor, or the clerk-treasurer.

A person bringing forth an issue may include their name on the form or remain anonymous.
