Harrison Police Won't Enforce Mask Mandate For Hamilton Co.

The PD does support the wearing of masks or face coverings to further prevent the spread of COVID-19.

(Harrison, Oh.) – The Harrison Police Department says they will not be enforcing Ohio’s mask mandate for Hamilton County.

The Ohio Department of Health ordered the mask mandate, which went into effect Wednesday evening – requiring face coverings to be worn while in public.

While Harrison Police will not be enforcing the mandate, they do support the wearing of a mask or face covering to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Harrison residents are asked NOT to call 911 or the Harrison Police non-emergency number to report violations of the health order.

Any potential violation should instead be reported to the Hamilton County Public Health Department at 513-946-7800.
