Hard Hat Hangout Returns To Downtown Aurora August 21

The free event will give kids and adults the opportunity to get an up close look at large equipment.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to sit in the driver's seat of a big rig? If so, there is an upcoming event just for you. 

The 4th Annual Hard Hat Hangout takes place Saturday, August 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Aurora Lion’s Club parking lot.

Main Street Aurora will host “Touch and Visit Day”.

Big trucks, backhoes, fire trucks, and other large equipment will be on display for kids and adults to look at up close and experience first-hand. Drivers and operators will be on site to answer questions about their jobs.

Equipment is provided by Aurora Utilities, Aurora Volunteer Fire Department and more.

The event is free to attend.

Eagle Country 99.3 will be there for a live broadcast from 10 until noon. Stop by and register to win great prizes.
