Hamilton County Declares Level 2 Snow Emergency

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - Hamilton County Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey has declared a Level Two (2) Snow Emergency for all of Hamilton County due to conditions caused by ice, blowing and drifting snow that have caused low visibility on county roadways. Due to hazardous driving conditions, some roadways in the county have been closed. These closures affect state, county, township, and city roadways.

Level Two (2) Snow Emergency is designed to advise motorists that all or certain roadways in the county are hazardous with icy spots, blowing and drifting snow causing low visibility. Only persons who deem it necessary to travel should be on the roadways. Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey urges extreme caution. Employees should contact their employer to determine if they should report to work.
