(Southeast Indiana) - Halloween fun is on the agenda this month in Southeast Indiana, with several events planned in the coming weeks:

  • At Perfect North Slopes’ ColorFall, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience featuring LED lit trees, jack o’lanterns, hay rides and fun fall scenes on a mile-long lit walking path around the lake. The event takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening through November 2 at Perfect North.
  • Experience a spooky evening during the 10th-Annual Aurora Ghost Walk sponsored by Main Street Aurora. Tour the streets of historic Aurora after dark, including a low-light tour of Hillforest Museum, October 24 & 25.
  • Take a walk on the fearful side with a trip to the Lost Soul Asylum, a terrifying haunted attraction taking place at the Aurora Fire House on Friday and Saturday nights through November 2.
  • Bring your pet to PAWS of Dearborn County’s Tails & Treats Halloween Festival on October 26, featuring a fall craft show, trunk-or-treat, raffle baskets, doggie costume contest, gift shop, food and more.
  • Finally, enjoy family-friendly Halloween fun during celebrations in both Aurora and Lawrenceburg – with plenty of treats on the menu! The City of Lawrenceburg’s Employee-Hosted Trunk “N” Treat at Ludlow Hill Park will be held the afternoon of October 27, while The Aurora Lions Club Halloween Parade & Costume Contest will take place October 29.
