Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue: A Historic Home Tour Returns December 13

(Greendale, Ind.) - Step back in time and experience the warmth of the holidays during Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue – Historic Home Tour, taking place Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.

The holiday tradition invites guests to explore some of Greendale’s most beautiful and historic homes, all elegantly decorated for the Christmas season.

Presented by Greendale Main Street in collaboration with the Dearborn County Historical Society, the event celebrates the rich history, architecture, and community spirit that define Greendale. Each home on the tour reflects a unique part of the city’s heritage, offering guests a festive evening filled with nostalgia, craftsmanship, and holiday cheer.

“Greendale’s Christmas on the Avenue brings our community together in such a meaningful way,” said Joshua Carlton with the Dearborn County Historical Society. “It’s an evening where history truly shines, and visitors can experience the charm and heart of our town during the most magical time of the year.”

Tickets for the event are available now at greendalemainstreet.com/events. Guests are encouraged to purchase early, as this popular event often sells out.
