No, he still doesn't want to legalize marijuana in Indiana right now.
During a Wednesday press conference, the governor told reporters at a statehouse news conference that he smoked pot when he was in college.
Holcomb attended Hanover College in southeastern Indiana.
But Holcomb says his opposition to marijuana legalization is more that he's not sure how it would play out as a policy for the entire state. He noted that it remains illegal at the federal level.
Neighboring states including Ohio, Michigan and Illinois have passed marijuana legalization laws in recent years. Ohio and Illinois have approved marijuana for medicinal use, but Michigan moved last year to legalize the plant for recreational use as well.
