Gov. Holcomb Directs Flags to be Lowered for Pearl Harbor Day

INDIANAPOLIS - Gov. Eric Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff across Indiana in remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, December 7. Gov. Holcomb is also requesting businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff.

The Attack on Pearl Harbor caused more than 180 US aircraft to be destroyed. A total of 2,393 Americans were killed, and 1,178 others were wounded, making it the deadliest event ever recorded in Hawaii.
