INDIANAPOLIS - Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Patriot Day.
Monday, September 11 marks the 22nd anniversary of the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. The attacks in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania killed nearly 3,000 Americans and injured thousands more.
Flags should be flown at half-staff at state facilities from sunrise to sunset on Monday, September 11.
Governor Holcomb also asks businesses and residents statewide to lower their flags to half-staff in remembrance of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
