Fundraiser Launched for Grandmother, Granddaughter Battling Cancer

Donations will help with financial hardship.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A fundraiser has been started to support and grandmother and a granddaughter that are both battling cancer.

Chastity Denison was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in January of 2024. The cancer spread quickly to her kidneys and has now reached her spine. Unfortunately for Chastity, she is too weak for any more surgeries, and doctors have said there is nothing more they can do.

She was recently sent home to be comfortable with hospice care assistance and support from her family. Chastity's main caregiver has been her elderly grandmother, who is also fighting Stage 4 lung cancer.

A GoFundMe has been setup to help the Denison family with financial hardship in these trying times. According to the fundraising page, there is no life insurance to help ease the financial burden.

About Chastity Denison

She was born on April 18, 1988, and graduated from Lawrenceburg High School with the class of 2007. If you have had the pleasure of meeting Chastity, you will forever remember her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Her love for her family and friends (along with the Madea Movie Franchise, LOL), is unconditional. All donations will be used to give Chastity the proper send off when the time comes. The family will greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make.
