Residents in the small town get flooded during storms from water that flows down New Trenton Hill Road, according to The Brookville Democrat-American newspaper. The problem has existed for decades.
Franklin County Commissioners are planning a July 20 meeting to discuss applying for a grant to address the problem from the Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission and Community Development Block Grant.
Possible solutions include installing new drainage in town to the Whitewater River, but the fix could be costly.
