Franklin Co. Grad Introduced as Newest Member of Batesville Police

(Batesville, Ind.) - Christian Richardson is the newest member of the Batesville Police Department. 

A swearing-in ceremony took place last Thursday. 

Richardson, a 2019 graduate of Franklin County High School, will be patrolling with Field Training Officers until he leaves for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in January. 

Once he graduates from the academy, Richardson will be put through a three-to-four-month field training program with certified Field Training Officers. 

In his personal time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time at the firearms range.
