(Boone County, Ky.) – A Florence man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Kendall Siffel, 23, is charged with 12 counts of Possession or Viewing of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under 12 and two counts of Possession or Viewing of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under 18.
In February, Boone County Sheriff’s detectives received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in regard to a child pornography investigation.
NCMEC reported that an unknown suspect who resides in Boone County was in possession of 14 files described as child sexual abuse materials, in addition to more than a dozen files depicting minors.
Siffel allegedly confessed to using a messaging platform to view, possess and distribute child pornography in exchange for money.
He is held in the Boone County Detention Center on $500,000 cash bond.
