(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Flood Advisory has been issued for three southeastern Indiana counties and one southwestern Ohio county.
The National Weather Service says Dearborn, Franklin and Ripley counties in Indiana and Hamilton County, Ohio are under the flood advisory until 12:15 p.m.
Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has already fallen in the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, according to the National Weather Service. An additional half-inch to an inch of rain is expected to fall the rest of today.
Locations that may experience flooding include Batesville, Lawrenceburg, Greendale, Brookville, Bright, Hidden Valley, Milan, Osgood, Versailles, Cleves and Harrison.
Motorists are reminded to never drive through high water or flooded roads.
