(Wilmington, Oh.) – Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight.
The National Weather Service says rainfall amounts could total one to three inches throughout the tri-state.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 4:00 a.m. Tuesday for the following local counties:
- Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland in Indiana
- Boone, Carroll, Gallatin, Kenton in Kentucky
- Hamilton County, Ohio
The forecast calls for repeated rounds of shows and thunderstorms with heavy rain at times. Additional heavy rain may continue through Tuesday with some localized flooding possible.
People in the watch area should be prepared for immediate action should heavy rain and flooding occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued.
Avoid low-lying areas and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
